These pieces, all on the topic of water in some way, grew out of a commissioning project we started during a residency at Avaloch Farm (the location pictured in the album art). Performing Kaija Saariaho's Cloud Trio made us wonder how other composers would explore water in its various forms. Here are perspectives from Luke Carlson, Matthew Chamberlain, and Theophilus Chandler! To read more about each piece, click on the individual track.
